AJC Hindu Coalition celebrated 25 years of India Israel relations at BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, New Jersey. Ambassador Dani Dayan and Indian Consul General Sandeep Chakravorty spoke about warm ties between India and Israel.
Pinakin Pathak, Organizer shared that it was a great event where all Indian and Jewish community members were invited. It was a great synthesis of two communities, cultures, countries and religions. David Levy, Regional Director, AJC New Jersey shared that one of the core mission of AJC is to engage in inter-group relations because they believe that through creating friendships and relations with each other, they create a pathway for a better world.
Consul General of India shared the trilateral relations between India, US and Israel are important for the preservation of values of democracy, secularism, and tolerance. Dani Dayan, Consul General of Israel in New York appreciated the event and friendship between the Indian and Jewish community. He said that the relationship with India is strategic. Relation with India is becoming the most important bilateral relationship.
The event was all about strengthening the ties between the two countries, members of mandir were thanked for their gracious hospitality and for hosting the wonderful event.
