Indo American Community Federation was co-founded in the year 1994 by Jeevan Zutshi as the first Indo American organization to build bridges with mainstream organizations, diverse leadership, think tanks and public officials. IACF organized its 17th annual dinner bringing diverse cultures and communities together. Catering to the theme of Unity through Diversity, this year’s program closely studied ethics in public life and
public service to promote unity.
Jeevan Zutshi, Founder, IACF shared the event, about 42politicians, elected people and public officials participated in the event along with other dignitaries. The program included entertainment lineups such as Spanish dancer, standup comedy, and bhangra. The theme resonated well with the current political climate and had the community, as well as dignitaries, come forward to encourage the cause.
Keynote speaker Bob Wieckowski, Fremont City Council Member, CA addressed the audience. The purpose of the non-profit is to bring entire diversity together to address serious issues being faced by the community at large, promoting understanding and positive relation through seminars and conventions and providing financial assistance to needy and deserving individuals.
