McDonalds, FIA host college fair in NJ to help aspiring students

The McDonald’s Corporation and Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) of NY, NJ & CT hosted the McDonald’s College Fair at the Edison High School in Edison, NJ on May 19.
The daylong event featured university and college executives and recruiters, who spoke about college admissions and campus life. Among the speakers were, Steven Boyd, Director International Admissions, University of Bridgeport; Anita Mahtani, Heartland Institute of Financial Education; Kevin Shah, VP/Director of Sales, BCB/Indus American Banks; and Arun Acharya, Hope Medical Institute. Students Parth Patel and Eshil Patel spoke about strategies in preparing for the ACT and SAT tests.
A panel discussion on “Your future lies in technology” was also part of the event.
Booths setup to help students, included McDonald’s, University of Bridgeport, BCB Indus American Bank, US Coast Guard Academy, College of Staten Island, Five Towns College, Hope Medical Institute and West Point Military Academy.
The event was supported by TV Asia.
