The Hindu Mandir of Lake County (HMLC) in Grayslake, Illinois, held a puja event as part of their daily rituals. It was special this time because the puja coincides with the original tithi of Ram and Janaki vivah.

The priest of the holy temple explained the greatness of Lord Ram and Janaki. How they adhered to the right values and stuck to it with a total devotion that resulted in the victory was neatly explained. The primary focus was on marriage, a great institution that is also interrelated to tradition and religion.

The Hindu Mandir of Lake County (HMLC) located in Illinois was started in 2004. Its chief purpose is to bring people together and express the words and glory of God through the Hindu symbolism.
