On Thursday, November 23rd, 2017, Bahadarpur Samaj Association (BSA-USA) hosted a gala dinner party and Diwali Celebration at Royal Alberts Palace, Edison, NJ. The event was a great success and attended by community people and paired with some performances. Diwali is the festival observed by people of different faiths for different reasons & they all acknowledge its underlying theme: the victory of good over evil and the triumph of light over darkness.

Bahadarpur has located around 50 kilometers away from Baroda between Dabhoi and Bodeli Town. Bahadarpur is on the bank of one of the widest river called “Orsang”. Another side of the river is Sankehada, which is very famous for “Sonari Furniture.” The BSA serves as a community center for natives of Bahadarpur who have settled in the United States. They may be far away physically from their native land, but their hearts are still in Bahadarpur. Bahadarpur- the town, the friends and the family they left behind, are always in their thoughts and prayers.
