IAGS – India Association of Garden State has organized their 41st Annual Day Event on 9th December 2017 from 6:00 pm onwards at Royal Albert’s Palace, 1050 King George’s Post Rd, Edison, NJ 08837. Annual Day Event is the culmination of a lot of hard work by the school-age children, the volunteer parents, teens, and adult participants as well, with the mission of instilling and keeping alive Indian cultural, social and charitable behaviors in their youths.
The event was a full-house with more than 240 people attending the event. It was a successful and grand even. The event comprises of high energy performances, live singing, DJ and dancing and delectable food and mesmerizing seven performances by the community kids that added a new flair to the occasion.
India Association of Garden State (IAGS) is a public charity under Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c) (3) based in New Jersey, USA. Its primary objective is to promote charitable, social and cultural events throughout the year. Also, it provides an opportunity for the children to learn about the rich and ancient cultural heritage of India, through organizing an annual show at the end of the year, fundraising for social causes, and other cultural events where the youth actively participate.
Such activities foster diversity while preserving harmony in the communities IAGS members call home. The same activities also spread the knowledge about India’s cherished heritage to children whose roots are in India and prepare them as aware citizens of our communities.
