SFV’s Annual Punjabi Cultural Event

Sikh Foundation of Virginia recently held a Punjabi Cultural event on a grand scale. It was the Annual Event conducted after some. The entire Sikh community participated in numbers to make it a grand success. It is estimated that around four members have attended the event.

The kids and adults part of the events did various forms of folk dances from Punjab and also enacted plays related to the Punjab heritage and history. The entire auditorium was reverberating with an infectious energy and euphoria.

The Sikh Foundation of Virginia organizes the events regularly throughout the year with an Annual Event to top it all. The goal is to spread and cherish the value of Punjabi culture among the community. The Amendments and Memberships Co-ordinator, and Trustee Sikh Foundation of Virginia, Surjeet Singh Sidhu spoke to TV Asia and expressed happiness over the success of the event.
