The Indian Cultural Society (ICS) held its Annual Gala event at the North Brunswick High School, New Jersey. It was named the Kapoor Kaleidoscope, as the central theme and performances of the function were done as a tribute to the Kapoor family of Bollywood for their generations of contribution towards the Indian cinema, and Bollywood in particular.
Children across various age groups and adults participated in the event enthusiastically. They performed to the hit songs and medleys of the Kapoors, starting from the generation of Raj Kapoor to the very latest Ranbir Kapoor. The play Chak De Chekhov by ICS Theater was also performed at the event.
Many dignitaries, including the mayor of East Brunswick, Brad Cohen, and ICS President Ashish Verma attended the gala. The Indian Cultural Society (ICS) was formed almost two decades ago owing to the necessity of celebrating the culture, festival and spreading cultural awareness. ICS is a community organization that provides a platform to get all the community members together and celebrates the festivals that help in spreading the traditions and increasing harmony among the group.
