American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin USA in collaboration with the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare held its 11th Annual Global Healthcare Summit at JW Marriot, Kolkata, India. With over 200 Physicians from the United States, the summit was attended by nearly 1000 delegates from around the world. The conference also featured highly informative and enlightening women’s leadership forum coordinated by Dr Udaya Shivangi and featured Bollywood star, Sharmila Tagore.
The forum attended by many renowned experts from different fields addressed as to how empowering and educating would help reduce infant mortality. AAPI has hosted 10 Indo-US Global Healthcare summits and developed strategic alliances with various organizations both in the US as well as in India. These summits are aimed at sharing of expertise in improving healthcare in the US as well as in India.
