Councilman Raj Malhi, who recently won re-election in the County election, was sworn in at the City Hall Council Chambers, in Lancaster, CA last week.
Malhi, 40, has been a resident of the Antelope Valley for more than 25 years. He was born in Punjab. His parents moved their family to America when he was 15 years-old.
Malhi grew up learning the family’s hospitality businesses. His first experience in city government began in 2007 when he was appointed to the Lancaster General Plan Citizens Advisory Committee.
