Director Gautham Menon who is known for his critically acclaimed films more than commercial success has slammed the critics.
His latest release Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada has been panned critically. Still, the film is running successfully and that too in this tough situation of a cash crunch. It made the director to openly slam the critics for not supporting the film. He wished that they would be on board for his next attempt.
The Tamil version of the film stars Simbu in the lead whereas the Telugu version Saahasam Swashaga Saagipo has Naga Chaitanya in the lead. Both the films had a decent weekend at the box office, with the Sunday being very good.
