Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which at the star of the year looked like a harmless fun outing for Diwali festival has become a hotbed for controversy ever since the ties between neighboring countries India and Pakistan have soured.

The makers were harassed by political goons over its release which prompted director-producer Karan Johar to publicly announce his patriotism. Since the film is just a week away from release, the producer along with Mukesh Bhatt met the Home Minister of the country, Rajnath Singh. They have apparently been assured to security and no problem with the release. Let’s see if the words of Home Minister account for anything or not in the coming days.
