Rock On 2, the sequel to the popular film, Rock On has been declared dead on arrival. The film has opened to abysmal numbers on the opening day competing with lowest openers of all time like Mirzya.

There was a visible lack of interest among audience due to the unexciting trailers and songs but still the opening was expected to be better due to the cult following of the original movie. Unfortunately, demonetization has hit it hard. These factors combined had made the film a disaster on arrival itself.

Rock On 2 was plagued with many issues during its making so the final result isn’t surprising for many. What is, however, a problem is that this also happens to be the first major disaster for heroine Shraddha Kapoor in a very long time.
