There is a strong buzz doing the rounds in political circles that Megastar Chiranjeevi may join Telugu Desam Party. If that happens would it be seen as an official end of “Mega” era?

Chiranjeevi, as it is, has taken a huge beating in popularity due to the closure of his party Praja Rajyam and subsequent merger into Congress. Not just fans but even among the common people, this move had earned him lots of brickbats. Still, as the star is making his comeback, fans are behind him and the common man looks excited. The reason for this is simple, the star has stayed away from active politics.

Now, if he joins TDP, considered a rival party by the fans, the jump into it from Congress would be undigestable for fans surely. This move if it turns a reality could literally end the "fanism" for a lifetime, feel the fans. Let’s wait and see if Chiranjeevi can avoid this stupid and easily predictable mess.
