Tamil star Ilayathalapathy Vijay has come forward and appreciated the Prime Minster of India, Narendra Modi. The star said that it was a bold move by the Prime Minister to ban the 500 and 1000 rupees notes.

He went on to say that while the idea is bold, the execution should have been better as people from smaller level are getting immense trouble. The 80 percent normal people are suffering today because of the 20 percent rich people mistakes. People should realise the importance of this and be helpful, wished the actor.

Vijay has from time to time come forward to appreciate people irrespective of political parties when the issue at the centre is of grave importance. In the past, he had supported Anna Hazare movement too.
