Lawmakers attend AAPI annual ‘Legislative Day’ in DC

Dozens of lawmakers from the Democratic as well as Republican parties spoke at the annual Legislative Day of American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), the largest ethnic medical organization in the United States, hosted at the Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. With the event, AAPI made its voice heard on various topics shaping the healthcare policies and programs of the nation. Later in the evening, the Indian Embassy hosted a dinner reception.
