Elizabeth Warren 2020 Campaign Hires Indian American Kunoor Ojha as Deputy National Organizing Director

The presidential campaign of Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren (D) has hired Kunoor Ojha, who was a top student organizer for both Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton in the last presidential election cycle.

Ojha, a Democratic activist, announced via her Twitter handle that she was hired as a Deputy National Organizing Director for the Warren campaign.

Until recently, Ojha was working as “Families Belong Together Distributed Actions Director” at National Domestic Workers Alliance in Washington, District of Columbia.

Prior to that, from April 2018 to September 2018, she worked for the liberal grassroots group Indivisible Project as an Associate Organizing Director.

Recently, she was among 65 South Asian women lawyers, activists and advocates that campaigned against Neomi Rao, who was appointed by President Trump for the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

Ojha has extensive experience working for campaigns.
