Babson College hosted its 4th annual India Symposium on April 19, at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. The theme of this year’s conference was “Gearing for Growth.”
Key speakers this year included Anurag Kashyap, Indian film director, writer, editor, producer and actor; Gururaj Deshpande, Indian American venture capitalist and entrepreneur; Akshaye Rathi, film exhibitor & distributor; Deepak Ohri, hotel mogul; Saket Modi, co-founder and CEO of Lucideus; and Jayam Vora, entrepreneur and co-founder of Fitternity.
Babson India Symposium is organized annually by students, staff, and faculties and promotes Babson and India by engaging and interacting with Indian leaders from various disciplines.
“The conference aims at reflecting on what unique factors have allowed India to thrive on the competitive global landscape,” the organizers said in a media release. “We aim to learn and communicate how India, the fastest growing economy in the world is gearing up for the Future.”
