Award-winning Bollywood playback singer Richa Sharma performed live with her band, enthralling more than 1,500 fans at the Hard Rock Café in Atlantic City, NJ.
Known for her soulful and malleable voice with deep and rich baritones, Sharma’s performance was part of her “Sajda” live concert series currently touring the US. The sold-out Atlantic City show was promoted by Amit Jaitly of Sai USA Inc. In recent years, Jaitly has been known to bring leading singers from India to the New Jersey area.
New Delhi-born and classically-trained Sharma made her Bollywood debut in 1996 with Sawan Kumar’s “Salma Pe Dil Aa Gaya.” Her breakout was with the 1999 film “Taal.”
At the Hard Rock Café, she recreated her talent with the performance of all of her hits including “Sajda,” “Kal Ho Naa Ho,” “Jag Soona Soona Lage,” “Chhalka Chhalka Re,” “Holi” and “Yaad Humsafar.”
