Forum on contributions of Sikh Americans to US military

Dean Vali Nasr and the Johns Hopkins SAIS Strategic Studies Program hosted a conversation on “Diversity in the US Military and the Contributions of the Sikh American Community,” at the Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC on April 17.
The event was hosted with the Sikh American Veterans Alliance (SAVA) and was attended by Ravi Bhalla, Mayor, Hoboken, New Jersey; Lieutenant General Mark Herling, USA, Retired, former Commanding General of US Army Europe; Dr Tammy S. Schultz, Director of National Security and Joint Warfare and a Professor of Strategic Studies at the US Marine Corps War College; LTC Kamal Kalsi, D.O., president, Sikh American Veterans Alliance and Shamila Chaudhary, Fellow, Foreign Policy Institute.
