Sadguru speaks about yoga on Capitol Hill

Sadguru Jaggi Vasudev, the Indian mystic, and founder of Isha Foundation, was on the Capitol Hill recently, meeting members of Congress and the Indian Diaspora, discussing environmental and health problems.
Speaking to a group of 50 people, he said yoga has a special place in the lives of humans. As the stress level was on the rise, people have all the comforts, yet the man was stressed. He asked people to adopt conscious living to reduce stress and learn to keep intellect in awareness, not in memory. The program was organized by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF).
“Whatever the events and situations are around you, you don’t get crushed by them; you ride them,” he said.
