CRY America, a child rights nonprofit, hosted its 2019 Houston gala dinner at the Marriott in Sugar Land, TX on March 3.
The gala was an evening filled with music and festivities and the spirit of giving. The organizers said all participants at the event made a difference together by being “Ambassadors of Change” for children’s rights.
The gala dinner was followed by a silent auction of a cricket bat autographed by former Indian captain Saurav Ganguly, a painting by Prakash Deshmukh and a record album autographed by the Eagles.
Among the special guests at the event were, celebrity actress Tanishaa Mukherji and India’s Consul General in Houston, Dr Anupam Ray.
