22nd World Hindu Heritage Day celebrated in Boston

The 22nd Hindu Heritage Day was organized by the volunteers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad/World Hindu Council of America (VHPA), Boston and Merrimack Valley Chapters, at the Marlborough Middle School in Marlborough, MA on May 19.
This year's central theme of the celebration was, “Celebrating Hindu Sanskriti,” which coincided with May 19, having been declared as “International Cultural Freedom Day.”

Pratham NY hosts panel on ‘Navigating Asia’s New Order’

Pratham New York Tristate hosted a panel discussion on “Navigating Asia's New Order: Implications for the United States, India and China” at the Intercontinental New York on May 16.
The panelists included, Alyssa Ayres, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State and author of “Our Time Has Come: How India Is, Making Its Place in the World; Anil K. Gupta, Smith School of Business. University of Maryland; Dingding Chen, professor of International Relations, Jinan University, Guangzhou, China; and Devesh Kapur, professor of Political Science and Director of the Center for the Advanced Study of India, University of Pennsylvania.
The event was moderated by Ankit Panda, Senior Editor, The Diplomat; Columnist, South China Morning Post.
A nonprofit, Pratham was founded on the belief that every child has the right to a quality education.
