Bridal Gala Showcase in NJ targets upscale weddings

Founders Meghna Parikh and Nirali Modi hosted Gala Showcase, a wedding expo event, at the Legacy Castle in Pompton Plains, NJ on March 9.

The event was positioned as the most prestigious and extravagant wedding gala event ever envisioned. The bridal showcase aimed to create partnerships by building a team with industry experts.

The evening began with registration and cocktails served with complimentary butler passed champagne and hors d’oeuvres while newly engaged couples took in the elegance of The Legacy Castle. It was followed by a 2-hour meet and greet collaboration between guests and wedding specialists.

The venue was fully dedicated to the event with each room following a theme, from the “Groom Room” to the “Gala Room.” The evening continued with complimentary live food tastings from top caterers, followed by a fashion show and live performances. The night ended with guests dancing and enjoying the ambiance along with the “Battle of the D.J.s!” 

The Gala Showcases, guests said, was an experience of its own, filled with new and refreshing ideas for the modern day bride and groom.

American Telugu Association (ATA) celebrates International Women's Day in Washington DC

The Washington, DC chapter of the American Telugu Association (ATA) celebrated the International Women’s Day, at the Chinmaya Mission in Chantilly, VA.

The free admission event included cultural activities, guest speakers, panel discussion and vendor and food booths.
